I am a semi-professional Guitarist, Bass player and Vocalist, with 30 years of performance experience. I’ve played in numerous live settings in and around Toronto, Dubai and Pakistan, and collaborated on studio albums and in live music videos. I have formed a number of bands, most notable being “Falak”, a Toronto based Prog-Rock band, and “On Probation/The Loose Cannons” a Classic and Hard Rock Covers band in Dubai. I’ve had the privilege of performing at major live venues in Toronto such as the El Mocambo, Rivoli, Reverb, Revival, Nathan Phillips Square, The CNE, and in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, at the F1 Performance stage, The Hard Rock Café, Global Village, The Music Room and Citi Maxx. I have been blessed to be around music and music has always found me when I needed it!

Setting up a Rehearsal Studio has been a dream of mine for years. It took a Pandemic to convince me to work on this project full time. Rehearsal spaces suffered tremendously during Covid, Toronto lost 50% of its rehearsal studio real estate, and the music scene suffered as a result. I am motivated to contribute to the revival of Toronto’s music scene, and support the growth of local musicians and artists.

Pursuing a music career has always been a side hustle. I entered into a career in Business Finance after graduating, helping raise capital for corporations and business owners. I realized not too long ago that it was time for me to work on my own vision. After two decades of working in International Business and Finance, I decided to take a plunge using the skills I learnt. I founded Volume 11 Studios as a way to find my way back to music!

My aim is to bring my experiences as a performing artist - who has spent years working on my craft in rehearsal studios and on live stages - to provide the best possible studio experience for musicians. Working with Cherry Beach Sounds is a very exciting opportunity to revive hourly rehearsal spaces in Toronto, and for Volume 11 Studios to start up its operations. I am very excited to provide a space for musicians to gather and collaborate as a community, welcoming musicians of all skill levels and genres!
